New ferry port Tangier Mediterranean
All ferries from Algeciras that previously went to Tangier now go to 'Tangier Med' 50km east of Tangier and 20km west of Ceuta. All the immigration procedures, including the D16 form, are done on the ferry, so speeding up disembarkation.
Ferries from Almeria, Sète, Barcelona and Genoa will continue to use Tangier, but are expected to transfer to Tangier Med in October 2010.
